I'd book a hotel near this station rather than downtown Shanghai (the Bund or Nanjing Road), since the daily commute back and forth wastes time. Hotels near Hongqiao run ¥400-700/night during the fair.

What's Worth Buying for the Arab Market?

Contract furniture: strong demand from Gulf hotel and restaurant projects.
Modern office furniture: many Gulf companies are refreshing offices, and factory prices beat local agents by a wide margin.
