- From Kunming: high-speed trains from Kunming South Station, 10+ departures daily, 2.5-3 hours, tickets ¥150-200 (second class).
- From Dali: high-speed rail takes about 1.5-2 hours — the easiest way to connect the two cities if your trip covers both. The cheaper alternative is the bus (¥80-120, about 3.5 hours).
Halal Food in Lijiang
